St Lucia Wedding Requirements
St Lucia is a wonderfully romantic location for a wedding or honeymoon. St Lucia is not just exotic and beautiful, it is full of many different resorts from modest, boutique to amazing luxury to choose from. Stay in a luxury all inclusive adult only resort, boutique hidden resort on a cliff or try a family friendly option that is affordable for everyone in your wedding party.
St Lucia wedding requirements are easy to follow.
To get married in St Lucia you will need the proper documentation:
An unexpired passport and birth certificate; a decree if one or both are divorced; a death certificate if one is a widow or widower; a deed if your name has been changed.
St Lucia has a No Residency Policy and if you are arriving on the island for a day you can still get married the same day. However if your resort has different rules (which they usually do, as theyneed to take the time to set up the wedding and legal paperwork). Application to be married in St Lucia is through a local solicitor or notary who prepares and signs the license.
We would highly recommend leaving yourself enough time to set up the wedding with your wedding coordinator. First Choice Travel and Cruise Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialists can assist you with all the right connections!
