Historic Charleston
Charleston is the oldest and second largest city in South Carolina. The city was founded in 1670. The Downtown Historic District of Charleston has long been the cultural capital of the South throughout history, and is considered to be a living museum. Charleston Walking Tour or Fort Sumter Cruise
In Charleston, you have the choice between two activities. Your first option is to stroll through the historic center with a local guide, exploring hidden alleyways and quaint areas that are only accessible by foot. Your second option is to take a harbor cruise to Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. Meet with a ranger to learn about the history and then enjoy time to explore on your own. You will return to the mainland later in the afternoon. During the cruise portion, enjoy views of Battery Park, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge and Fort Moultrie.Charleston Walking TourPacing Level 3This 2 hour tour through historic Charleston covers 2-2.5 miles with few stops. Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens
Get to know the Southern way of life as you explore one of America’s oldest plantations. The plantation was founded in 1681, known at the time for producing cotton and pecans. It opened to the public in 1956, where the owners sought to give visitors a taste of plantation life by furnishing the home with antiques and giving tours. Today, it is home to a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Savannah
Savannah is the oldest city in the State of Georgia, established in 1733. Savannah was also a strategic port city in the American Revolution and during the American Civil War. Today, Savannah is an industrial center and an important Atlantic seaport. Savannah’s downtown area is one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the U.S.

St. Simons Island
St. Simons is an island in Glynn County, Georgia on Georgia’s southern coast. It is one of Georgia’s renowned Golden Isles, as well as the largest. Much of the island remains as marsh or woodland. Boating, biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing and many other outdoor activities are popular to do on the island.

Jekyll Island
Situated in the Atlantic Ocean, off the Georgia coast, lies Jekyll Island - the smallest of Georgia’s barrier islands. In 1886, Jekyll Island was transformed from a quiet little island into an exclusive winter retreat for America’s rich and famous and became known as the Jekyll Island Club. The Rockefellers, Morgans and Pulitzers were a few of the families that vacationed here in its heyday. Today, the island is owned by the State of Georgia which has implemented restrictions on development that leaves one third of the island to nature preserves. Its open spaces, pristine beaches, quaint shopping and dining district, and a fascinating historical museum have made this island flourish over the recent decades.
