2027 Engelberg Pre-Cruise/Tour Day to Day Overview
Day 1: EngelbergOnce you’ve cleared customs, you will be greeted by a Uniworld representative and transferred to the Kempinski Palace, a 5-star resort with Belle Époque flair and luxurious amenities.
Day 2: EngelbergOur included activity today begins in the late afternoon, so you have much of the day to head out and explore the village on your own. Your Uniworld local host can offer suggestions for your leisure time. Later, join us on a visit to nearby Lucerne, where the Christmas markets are considered the best in the country.
FEATURED EXCURSION: Lucerne Christmas MarketBoard a motorcoach and drive to the lake town of Lucerne for a magical Christmas market. During the Advent season, Lucerne lights up in the evenings with charming twinkling lights and local producers show off their handicrafts at various markets throughout the city. Handmade products, mulled wine, and seasonal treats beckon visitors from all over Europe.
Day 3: EngelbergChoose to explore Engelberg your own way today. Perhaps you’d like to take advantage of the excellent skiing opportunities near your hotel. Inquire with your Local Host about day passes and ski rentals, then hit the slopes for a day in the snow. Whether you’ve never skied before or are a seasoned professional, don’t worry, Engelberg has slopes rated from beginner to expert.
If you would like to acquire a Day Pass and ski rentals, please inquire with your Local Host to make arrangements at your own cost. Ski rental includes skis, shoes, clothing, glasses, helmet, and poles.
Day 4: EngelbergThis morning after breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Mt. Titlis and ride in the world’s first revolving cable car. Later, transfer to the ship to begin your cruise.
FEATURED EXCURSION: Mt. TitlisSummit over 10,000 feet (about 3.05 km) for an adventure on top of one of the highest mountains in Switzerland that is open to tourists. From the peaks of Mt. Titlis, take in unbeatable views of the surrounding mountain ranges that spread out for miles. A popular day-trip destination for non-locals and locals alike, any time of year, Titlis is famous for being the site of the world’s first rotating cable cars and Europe’s highest suspension bridge.
