If Scotland is on your "BUCKET LIST" or if you are an OUTLANDER fan or not, this tour would have been made for you!
We visited so many exciting sites of Scotland along with the Isle of Skye on this tour!  Did I mention CASTLES?
Yes every day we saw wonderful castles, experienced local authentic sites and activities.  Shopped and walked the Magnificant Mile, some of us sheared a sheep, visited a museum in Glasgow, saw the owls,  were able to pet a Scotish cow, took a short cruise of Loch Lomond and admired the beautiful panoramic views of the Highlands on our whole trip.

We took a ferry and visited the Isle of Skye and the Culloden Battlefield.  Then of course while in Scotland you have to try the WHISKY so a Scotish whiskey tasting we did!  Along with another castle or two!  Each one was totally different and beautiful just like the fairy tales and movies you have seen!

The trip finale was an evening to remember with Scotish music and dancing!  Everyone agreed that our Scotland trip was a huge success!

Mike and I had a wonderful time too.  It was really nice meeting all 19 people on our trip plus John & John.

Thank you for talking the Johns into taking us to the stones!  It was something I wanted to do last trip but could not find them.

I got to see things I already have seen but still found something new.  I also got to see a lot of things that I wanted to see but could not do last trip.
Gesica with a g and 1 s is a happy soul and made us laugh more than a few times.   It was nice seeing you in person again after such a long time.

I hope we see you both again.

Thank you again for offering this trip it was definitely worth the money and time.

Take care,

Michelle

What a wonderful trip! The tour's itinerary kept us immersed in history and the scenery along the way was just beautiful. Our driver John made us feel safe traveling unfamiliar roads and the very tight situations encountered along the way. Our guide John was so informative and interesting. Together they set the mood for a fun and memorable experience.  It was also enjoyable meeting new people and spending time with a group that liked to have fun.

I did have fun.  The Edinburgh Military Tattoo was my favorite part.

One nice part about this trip is you spend the first 2 days (London) at the same hotel and the last 2 days at the same hotel (Edinburgh).

I meet some new friends - another gal my age from Delaware traveling solo and two older gals from California traveling together.  Everyone on the bus was nice.

All 3 of the girls started their trip a few days early at the Hilton Victoria Station hotel.  I think that is a great idea because there is a lot to see.  I wish I would have done that.  One of the girls even hired someone to take her to Stone Henge.  You can ride the hop on hop off bus in London.  It is not as good as the one in Boston but it gets you around and gives you some information about landmarks.   The hop on hop off also has a river boat.  I did that for an additional 7 pounds.

The Hilton Victoria Station hotel is right across from the train station (handy) but it is not noisy or crowded (that could be due to the partial strike?).

The Bailbrook House Hotel was nice but we did not spend much time there.

The Hilton Liverpool was also nice.  I like Hiltons.

The last hotel (Malmaison) did not have air conditioning.  It was hot at night so I left my window open.  This might scare some people but I was on the 3rd floor.

Windsor castle and Shakespeare's birthplace were good as well as the Lake Windemere Cruise.

I did not like the Roman Baths.  Dirty water, hard to walk thru and hot.  Half our group liked them and the other half could have done something else.

The bus was comfortable, clean and had Wi-Fi.  They ask that you only use the bus bathroom for emergencies.  They try to stop every 2 hours to let you stretch, get water and use the bathroom.

The food was the typical UK - fish & chips, haggish (my favorite), baked beans and warm tomatoes for breakfast as well as scrambled eggs.  I don't like scotch but I do like Drambuie.

I am glad that I took this trip.  Thank you for the help setting everything up.
